BREAKING: ECOWAS Re-Elects Tinubu As Chairman

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has re-elected President Bola Tinubu as Chairman for another term.

Eko Hot Blog reports that this development come one year after the Nigerian leader took over the regional bloc’s leadership.

Tinubu, on Sunday, hosted the ECOWAS heads for the 65th Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

According to Channels TV, Tinubu who rose to power in May 2023 was re-elected as the ECOWAS chairman during the meeting.
