Edo Guber Election: APC Disqualifies Obaseki, Others

All Progressives Congress (APC) Screening Committee for Edo State Governorship election has declared Governor Godwin Obaseki ineligible to contest in the party’s primary.

The gubernatorial election is slated for September.

The committee said Obaseki is disqualified on the grounds of some discrepancies in his educational certificates and National Youths Service Corps (NYSC).

Others also disqualified are Hon. Matthew Iduoroyekemwen and Egnr. Chris Ogiemwonyi.

The committee cleared Pastor Osagie Ize- Iyamu, Dr. Pius Odubu and Hon. Osaro Obazee.
