BREAKING: #EndSARS: Makinde Orders Closure Of Schools

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, says all school in Oyo State should tentatively be closed.

The governor made the announcement in a statement on Tuesday, following widespread violence that has marred the ongoing #EndSARS protests.

He said the order was effective Wednesday, October 21, 2020.

States like Ekiti, Lagos, amongst others had also shut down all schools in view of the continued violence which triggered amidst the ongoing protests against police brutality and extrajudicial killings.
