Armed with placards with various inscriptions, the protesting youths gathered at Trans, along the UI-Bodija road chanting EndSARS; NoSAWAT as they marched on the streets.
Another group of youths gathered in front of the main gate of the University of Ibadan where they barricaded the road and forced vehicles to make a detour.
The protest was peaceful while the protesters said they were ready to continue with the protest for as long as it would take the government to end bad governance, which they said led to police brutality, economic crisis, corruption, and insecurity.
