• The 37-year-old newly crowned Olu is a serial entrepreneur.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan, on Saturday, August 28, 2021, paid homage to newly crown Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, at his palace in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Ogiame Atuwatse III was crowned the 21st Olu of Warri on Saturday at Ode-Itsekiri, ancestral home of the Itsekiris in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Emiko Tsola was announced as the successor to the late Olu Ogiame Ikenwoli in April.

In making the announcement, the Iyatsere of Warri Kingdom, Chief Johnson Atseruleghe symbolically broke three earthen pots containing white native chalk on the floor, followed by twenty cannon shots.

He is also the chairman, Ocean Marine Security and Director, Gulf of Guinea Limited, as well as Vessellink Nigeria Limited.
