EKOHOTBLOG reports that the former Minister of Aviation, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, has formally joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The former minister during the President Olusegun Obasanjo administration was presented to President Muhammadu Buhari by the Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the APC, and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday.
Speaking, Fani Kayode said that he was led by the Spirit of God in his decision, adding that he joined the ruling APC to help for the unity of the country.

The former minister further stated that he was against anything that would cause the disintegration of Nigeria.
Fani-Kayode added that he was instrumental in the exit of three Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors to the APC.
EKOHOTBLOG reports that the governors Fani-Kayode mentioned include the governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi; governor of Cross River State, Ben Ayade; and the governor of Zamfara State, Bello Matawale.
