EKOHOTBLOG reports that the Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) has taken over some houses belonging to the former Governor of Kwara State, Abdulfatah Ahmed.
It was gathered that the mansions located at Abdulrazaq Road, GRA, Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, were took over by AMCON over a N5 billion debt.

The latest development was confirmed by the spokesman of AMCON, Jude Nwazor, on Wednesday, noting that the commission is currently preparing a statement.
EKOHOTBLOG reports that Abdulfatah Ahmed, who succeeded former Senate President Bukola Saraki, was the governor of Kwara State between 2011 and 2019.
