BREAKING: Five Of 73 Abducted Zamfara Students Regain Freedom

  • Five out of 73 abducted Zamfara students have regained freedom.

EKOHOTBLOG reports that five among the 73 abducted students of Government Day Secondary School Kaya in Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State have been released by their abductors.

The release of the abducted students was disclosed by the former councillor of Kaya Ward, Yahaya Kaya, on Thursday.

Kaya, who said his daughter, Amina, was among the five students released by the bandits, revealed that the abducted students were taken back to their hometown (Kaya) around 1am on Thursday.

The former councillor further stated that the students released by the bandits were all in good health.

EKOHOTBLOG reports that the Zamfara State Police Command had confirmed the abduction of the 73 students in the state on Wednesday.
