Breaking!!! Former NDDC MD Recounts Her Rescue From Police, Eulogizes Wike
The ex-Managing Director of the Interim Committee of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Joy Nunieh has expressed her appreciation to the Rivers State Governor, Mr. Nyemsom Wike, for coming to her rescue from an attempted arrest by the operatives of police.
Governor Wike had moved the former NDDC boss out of her residence at Herbert Macaulay Street, Old GRA, Port Harcourt, to Government House Port Harcourt to save her from the illegal arrest.
Addressing newsmen via telephone, Nunieh said she was amazed at the invasion of her home by Police officers who came without warrant of arrest.

The former MD of NDDC, therefore, applauded the move by Governor Wike and for living up to his promise of protecting her.
With her eventual evacuation, the former MD will be making a virtual appearance before a House Representative Committee via zoom where she would be answering questions concerning her activities as then MD of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
