EKOHOTBLOG reports that the former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Abba Sayyadi Ruma, has passed away.
This online news platform gathered that the former minister died in a London Hospital on Wednesday at the age of 59.
EKOHOTBLOG reports that the Katsina State-born Ruma served under the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua administration.

Confirming the death of the former minister, his uncle and Danwairen Katsina, Alhaji Sada Salisu Ruma, said Ruma had battled diabetes for a long time before he eventually gave up the ghost on Wednesday morning.
Abba Sayyadi Ruma was born on March 13, 1962.
The late former minister is survived by two wives and nine children.
Meanwhile, the publisher of Kaduna-based Desert Herald newspaper and magazine, Malam Tukur Mamu, has condoled with Ruma family.
