EKOHOTBLOG reports that a retired Rear Admiral and former Military Governor of Ondo State, Sunday Abiodun Olukoya, is dead.
It was gathered that the former Governor died on Tuesday after a brief illness.
The former Ondo Governor gave up the ghost at the age of 72.
EKOHOTBLOG reports that before Ondo and Ekiti were split, Olukoya was the Governor of the combined states between 1989 and 1992.

He succeeded Retired Commodore Olabode George and handed over to Chief Bamidele Olomilua.

A family source, however, said funeral arrangements will be announced later.
EKOHOTBLOG reports that the death of Olukoya is coming a few days after the demise of the former Military Governor of Oyo State, General Adetunji Idowu Olurin.
General Olurin was pronounced dead on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at the age of 78.
