EKO HOT BLOG reports that former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Taraba State, North Eastern Nigeria, Abdulmumini Vaki is dead.
While some reports say he was aged 56-year old, others put his age at 54.
He breathed his last on Wednesday evening at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Jalingo after an undisclosed illness.
Vaki was a founding member of the PDP in Taraba State.
Members of the PDP Taraba State described Vaki’s death as a rude shock. They noted that the vacuum he left will be hard to fill.

Many party supporters have been trooping his house in Jalingo to sympathise with the family.
The deceased is expected to be buried later today (Thursday) according to Islamic rites.
