BREAKING: Four Feared Dead, Houses Razed As Gunmen Invade Plateau Communities

No fewer than four persons have been killed while many houses were razed following an attack by unknown gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen on Plateau communities.

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the latest attack by the suspected herdsmen occurred in the Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.

It was further learnt that the attack by the unknown gunmen occurred while the residents of the communities were sleeping on Saturday night.

As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG the invasion by the gunmen was confirmed by the National President of Irigwe Development Association, Ezekiel Bini, in Jos on Sunday, saying, “Fulani herdsmen have again attacked our people last night. This particular attack is more devastating.”

He further disclosed that houses from Zamuna Village and those close to Jebbu Miango were burnt by the assailants.

“They further destroyed our farms by mowing the crops and setting several houses on fire. Four people have been confirmed killed and many seriously injured,” Bini said.

EKO HOT BLOG, however, gathered that security operatives have been deployed to the affected communities.
