EKO HOT BLOG reports that two worshippers were abducted by gunmen who stormed a Celestial Church of Christ branch in Wasimi, Ewekoro Local Government Area (LGA) of Ogun State.
The attack took place around 11 p.m. on Monday, according to a source.
Oluwaseun Ajose, the parish’s Assistant Shepherd, and Dagunro Ayobami, a Sunday school teacher, were among the victims. According to sources, the kidnappers are demanding a ransom of N50 million.
A joint security team of police and local vigilantes has been combing the forest in the area.
