EKO HOT BLOG reports that Ameerah Sufyan, a psycho-educator, has taken to Twitter to claim that she and many other Abuja residents are being held captive by gunmen.
The armed kidnappers disguised as police officers arrived in a van, according to Sufyan. She claimed that the hoodlums kidnapped residents “from various parts of Abuja,” and that she is secretly tweeting about it.
According to her, their kidnappers are Yorubas and Fulanis.
The abductees include children and women.
“Please whoever has my WhatsApp number I sent a broadcast message of my location. We were abducted at gun point by ppl [sic] with police uniforms and a van from our houses from different parts of Abuja. We’re 17 including 3 pregnant women and two little kids, they didn’t see my phone,” she tweeted.
“They’re 4 Yoruba and two Fulani men. They divided us up an hour ago we’re 7 here. The other vehicle they said they will reach Ilorin and ours will reach Ibadan or Ikeja as they said,” she added in her last tweet at 3:36 PM.

Despite the assurance of the Federal Government as well as various state governments, the criminals have continued to have a field day.
Multiple calls put through to the spokesperson of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command, DSP Josephine Adeh, did not connect.
