BREAKING: Gunmen Kill Another Prominent Islamic Cleric [PHOTO]

Another prominent Islamic Cleric has been killed by gunmen.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that a prominent southeast cleric, Sheikh Ibrahim Iyiorji, has been killed by the so-called ‘Unknown Gunmen’ wreaking havoc in Nigeria’s southeast region.

The cleric died on Monday night at the Federal Teaching Hospital Abakaliki after he was attacked by some ‘Unknown Gunmen’ at his residence in Isu, Onicha Local Government Area (LGA) of Ebonyi State on Sunday night.

Reacting to the cleric’s murder, members of the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) Abuja Branch condoled with the Ebonyi State Muslim community.

In a statement jointly signed Salahudeen Ustaz Yunus, the Chairman, MURIC Abuja Branch; and Luqman Leleye, the Public Relations Officer of MURIC Abuja branch, the group asked authorities to get to the root of the circumstances surrounding the attack.

“May Allah enable the Government do the needful in getting to the root of the circumstances surrounding his attack by the dare-devils.
