BREAKING: Gunmen Strike In Bauchi, Abduct Nursing Mother
- Gunmen have struck in Bauchi and abducted a nursing mother.
EKOHOTBLOG reports that unknown gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a nursing mother of three children, Mrs Rukayyat Odedoyin, in Bauchi State.
The latest abduction, EKOHOTBLOG reports, occurred at Birshin Fulani, a suburb of Bauchi metropolis, in the early hours of Friday.
Speaking to newsmen on the incident, a resident disclosed that the gunmen, who were about 10 in number, stormed the community around 12am and forced themselves into the building of the abducted nursing mother.
The source added that the assailants broke the main door of the victim before gaining entrance into the house and went away with the woman whose husband had just been transferred to Kaduna.
The resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said, “At about 12 midnight, we started hearing sporadic gunshots from different directions around our house. We woke up and thought of having cover.

“We then heard people jumping the fence trying to gain entrance into the house of our neighbour. They were there from 12 midnight to 1.30 a.m. By the time we came out, they had left with the woman, leaving behind her three children,” the source disclosed.
Meanwhile, the Bauchi State Police Command had yet to react to the incident as of press time.
