BREAKING: Harris Sworn In As First Black, Female Vice-President Of The US

Kamala Harris has been sworn in as the first female, first Black, first Asian-American Vice President of the United States.

Harris was sworn in by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who is the first Hispanic Supreme Court Justice of the United States.

She took her oath of office today at Capitol Hill using two Bibles; one that previously belonged to a former neighbor and family friend of Harris’, Regina Shelton, and another that belonged to Thurgood Marshall, the first African American to serve on the Supreme Court.
