BREAKING: Hoodlums Forcefully Disperse Protesters Around Sanwo-Olu’s Office in Lagos

Protesters marching in Alausa, the government seat of Lagos State, have been forcibly removed from the streets.

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the office of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is located in Alausa, where protesters, who have been defying the court-approved protest venue at Freedom Park in Ojota since Thursday, were gathered.

Around noon, hoodlums armed with sticks, machetes, and other weapons attacked the protesters, causing them to flee in various directions as the assailants closed in. Security personnel present reportedly did not intervene while the protesters sought refuge.

This incident occurred 24 hours after hoodlums had previously driven protesters out of Freedom Park.
