House Minority Leader Ndudi Elumelu and his family members have tested negative for COVID-19.
Elumelu made this known in a statement on Wednesday.
He urged that Principal Officers and members of the House and other close associates go for COVID- 19 test.
He said: “I, Hon Ndudi Elumelu, Minority Leader House of Representatives, did another Covid-19 test on Friday 3rd of July with my family and other 11 domestic staff, and announce that the results came out negative.
“I urge every member and staff of the National Assembly to do the same.”
It was rumored a week ago that 50 of the legislators at the national assembly had tested positive to coronavirus after a closed door session.
Ndudi Elumelu is a Nigerian politician at the House of Representatives level.
Ndudi Elumelu currently serves as the Federal Representative representing Aniocha North/Aniocha South/Oshimili North/Oshimili South constituency in the 9th National Assembly.
