BREAKING: Hunger Protest: Policemen Teargas Journalists, Protesters in Abuja

Police have fired teargas canisters at protesters gathering at the Berger roundabout in Abuja.

EKO HOT BLOG  reports that Journalists reporting on the protest were also targeted with teargas at a different location where they were assembled.

Protesters demanding an end to bad governance in Nigeria have moved from the Abuja National Stadium to the Berger roundabout.

Amnesty International has condemned the killing of 13 protesters, calling the actions unacceptable.
