Eko Hot Blog reports that the governor declared the curfew at a press conference held at the Government House on Thursday.
Governor Yusuf stated, “After careful consideration, we have decided to implement a 24-hour curfew to prevent further looting, vandalism of businesses, and harm to innocent citizens.”
He has directed all security agencies in the state to enforce the curfew strictly to restore peace.
