- Azuka was abducted on Christmas Eve while returning home, with his vehicle later recovered at Upper Iweka, Onitsha.
- Anambra Police confirmed the discovery, stating the Commissioner of Police will provide further details.
The kidnapped lawmaker representing Onitsha North in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Justice Azuka, has been found dead.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Azuka, a Labour Party (LP) member, was abducted on Christmas Eve 2024 around 9 pm in Ugwunakpamkpa, Inland Town, Onitsha, while returning home for the holiday.

His body was later discovered near the Second Niger Bridge.

Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the discovery, on Thursday that officers are recovering the body. “Our men are bringing the corpse to the State Police Headquarters in Amawbia.
We will release more information once it arrives,” he said.
When asked for details on the discovery, SP Ikenga deferred to the Commissioner of Police, stating, “The CP will brief the press on the specifics.”

Earlier, the vehicle in which the lawmaker was abducted was found near Upper Iweka in Onitsha a few days after the kidnapping.
