EKO HOT BLOG reports that the police responded to a distress call from Sangotedo that the cult groups were on a rampage.
According to a statement by the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, on Tuesday morning, the cultists were arrested with “locally made firearms.”
He said “Men of Ajah Division responded swiftly to a distress call from Sangotedo that cultists were on rampage. These two were arrested with locally made firearms.”
Hundeyin revealed that “they are currently assisting with ongoing investigations.”
