Lagos State Launches SDGs Club In Schools (PHOTOS)

Public Schools in Lagos State will now operate a Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Club to inspire the younger generation.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Lagos State Government, through the Office of SDGs and Investment, has launched the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Club in Public Secondary Schools.

It noted that the launching became necessary as a measure to mobilize, motivate and inspire the young ones to explore ways of contributing to a sustainable community.

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Folashade Jaji, at the event.

He applauded the creativity of the students and their desire to become agents of change within the state.

At the event, there was also the launch of the SDGs Secondary Book to enhance the teaching of SDGs in schools and encourage students to play their roles in building a safe, secure, and prosperous future.
