BREAKING: Many Feared Dead As Bandits Attack Sokoto Communities

• Unknown gunmen suspected to be bandits have killed many residents in Sokoto State.

EKOHOTBLOG reports that no fewer than nine people were killed and six others were abducted by suspected bandits.

The latest attack, EKOHOTBLOG gathered, occurred in the Goronyo Local Government Area of Sokoto State on Saturday.

It was learnt that among those killed by the bandits across three villages are eight men and one woman.

EKOHOTBLOG gathered that the villages attacked by the suspected bandits include Bejingo, Dantudu, and Tulutu, all in the Birjin ward.

It was further gathered that the bandits carted away herds of cattle belonging to the villagers.

Corpses of the deceased had been buried according to Islamic rites.
