Eko Hot Blog reports that ex-wife of one-time world richest man, Bill Gates, Melinda French Gates has resigned from her position as the co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) effective from June 6, 2024.

Melinda made the announcement on her social media accounts on Monday.
“I am immensely proud of the foundation that Bill and I built together and of the extraordinary work it is doing to address inequities around the world,” she said
According to the divorce agreement she had with her ex-husband, Bill Gates, she will receive an additional $12.5 billion to continue her charitable work outside of the foundation.
