Earlier, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, had revealed that Mohbad’s body had been exhumed for the autopsy.

In the NPF statement, it read, “The Nigeria Police Force wishes to inform the public that the autopsy procedure for Mr. MohBad has been successfully completed. Further information will be provided as soon as the results are available.”

MohBad’s untimely death had raised concerns and triggered investigations. Some had pointed fingers at Afeez Fashola, the owner of Marlian Record Label, who is professionally known as Naira Marley.

Additionally, there were disputes among distant relatives regarding his estate in the days following his demise.

Many Nigerians questioned the immediate burial of MohBad in Ikorodu, Lagos, the day after his death. However, his father explained that it was in accordance with Yoruba customs.

Nigerian youths have organized peaceful protests to demand justice for him. Both the Nigeria Police and the Lagos Police Command have pledged to investigate his death.
