BREAKING: NBA Protests In Lagos Over Judicial Autonomy
- The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ikeja Branch, has protested against the non-implementation of financial autonomy for the judiciary as enshrined in the Constitution.
- The protest by the placard-carrying lawyers was led by the Chairman, Bartholomew Aguebodo.
The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ikeja Branch, on Monday, protested against the non-implementation of financial autonomy for the judiciary as enshrined in the Constitution.
The protest followed a directive by the NBA National President, Olumide Akpata, to branches nationwide to stage a protest on Monday.
The protest by the placard-carrying lawyers was led by the Chairman, Bartholomew Aguebodo.
It took off from Ikeja Bar Centre as the lawyers marched through Oba Akinjobi, into Obafemi Awolowo Way towards Alausa secretariat.
