Ekohotblog has projected the Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr. Seyi Makinde as the winner of the Oyo State Gubernatorial election.
While we are awaiting the official results and affirmation from INEC, Ekohotblog has projected Mr. Seyi Makinde and his Deputy as the winner of the said election.
Makinde won his polling Unit 001, Ward 11 of Ibadan North-East Local Government, where the PDP scored 165 to the APC’s 71.
His closest rival, Bayo Adelabu, of the All Progressives Congress, polled 71 votes.
The result was announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission Presiding Officer, Mr. Nnamdi Emmanuel.
For the House of Assembly results from the Polling unit, PDP also won with 142 votes, while APC candidate scored 70 votes, and ADC 07 votes.
During the Presidential and National Assembly elections, APC lost the ward to the PDP.
