In his statement, he said “This shows why we are demolishing Illegal structures. There are shanties and fences almost everywhere in Gwarinpa Estate. These are criminal hideouts which we will not allow to stay.”
Attah maintained that with the increasing rate of shanties in Abuja, the FCT Administration will not ignore any attempt to perpetrate a crime or the illegal dispossession of people.
The suspected 49 criminals that were arrested have been handed over to Efab Police Station, Galadimawa, for more interrogation and prosecution.
