Breaking News: Ekiti State To Pay N30,000 Minimum Wage

Ekiti State governor, Governor Kayode Fayemi has announced that starting from October, the state will pay workers the N30, 000 minimum wage.

Fayemi made this known while speaking at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in the capital of Ado Ekiti during the 2019 celebration of the Teachers’ Day.

He said the decision to implement the new wage was predicated on the need to improve the living standard of workers, especially teachers.
