Nigerians in Diaspora Commission have announced that another 15 Stranded Nigerians in France, Germany, and Netherlands would be arriving Lagos today.
The commission made this announcement via a microblogging application, Twitter.
NIDCOM noted that the flight would be departing from the citizenM Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris via airfrance.
NIDCOM tweet read, ”Another 15 Stranded Nigerians in France, Germany, and Netherlands will depart citizenM Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris via @airfrance flight to Nigeria and Cotonou at 11:30 a.m to Murtala Muhammed Int’l Airport Lagos today 9th of July, 2020.”
The evacuation exercise coordinated by the Nigerian Missions in France, Germany, and the Netherlands, is monitored by NiDCOM.
The commission noted that every evacuee had been mandated to go on 14days self-isolation as instructed by the ministry of health, NCDC.
”They are expected to land at precisely 4:45 pm then proceed on 14 days SELF-ISOLATION as mandated by
NCDCgov, and PTF on COVID-19.
The commission has played a patriotic role since the outbreak of the pandemic.
The commission also welcomed the arrival of 162 evacuees from India on July 8, 2020.
