Nigeria has recorded new COVID-19 cases with the NCDC announcing 338 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
NCDC noted this in its daily COVID-19 cases update published on its official Twitter handle.
It wrote: “Nigeria has recorded 338 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 5,959.
“177-Lagos; 64-Kano; 21-FCT; 16-Rivers; 14-Plateau; 11-Oyo; 9-Katsina; 4-Jigawa; 4-Kaduna; 3-Abia; 3-Bauchi; 3-Borno; 2-Gombe; 2-Akwa Ibom; 2-Delta; 1-Ondo; 1-Kebbi and 1-Sokoto.“
Meanwhile, Ekohotblog reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to five thousand, nine hundred and fifty-nine (5959) with one thousand, five hundred, and ninety-four (1594) people discharged and one hundred and eighty-two (182) deaths recorded so far.
