BREAKING: Nigeria Records Five New Cases Of COVID-19, Total Now 214

As more tests are being carried out, there is an upsurge in the number of new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria.

Five new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Nigeria, says the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.

Three of the cases were recorded in Bauchi State and two in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.

“As at 10:10 pm 4th April, there are 214 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.

Twenty-five patients have been discharged with two deaths,” NCDC stated.

The NCDC recently announced that the testing capacity of Nigeria is 1500 a day. This is an abysmal statistics given the population of Nigeria which is estimated at Two Hundred Million.
