BREAKING: Nigerian Army General Assassinated In Abuja, Sister Kidnapped

  • A Nigerian Army General has been assassinated in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), while his sister has been abducted.

Major General Hassan Ahmed, a former Provost Marshal of the Nigerian Army, has been assassinated in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, EKO HOT BLOG has gathered.

It was gathered that the Nigerian Army General, who was recently appointed as a Director at the Army Headquarters in Abuja, was assassinated in the Abaji area of the nation’s capital on Thursday night.

EKO HOT BLOG further leant that the assailants abducted the sister of the late General, Safina Ahmed.

A source close to the family, who confirmed the tragic incident, disclosed that the siblings were coming from Okene, Kogi State when they were attacked by the assailants.

“They opened fire on his vehicle, he died. The driver pretended to be dead from the wound he sustained, so they took the sister away,” the source disclosed.

It was gathered that General Ahmed failed to move with escort when he was attacked by the assailants.

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the Army General was transported by his driver, Sergeant Bukar, in a Toyota Hilux with a private plate number.

It was, however, learnt that the body of General Ahmed has been moved to the Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association (NAOWA) Hospital in Abuja.

The Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, could not be reached for comment as of the time of filing this report.
