The Nigerian government on Monday issued a travel advisory for citizens planning to visit the UK, EKO HOT BLOG reports.
The alert, issued by Amb. Eche Abu-Obe, spokesperson for the Minister of Interior, observed an “increased risk of violence and disorder due to recent riots in the UK.”
He advised Nigerians traveling to the UK to exercise heightened vigilance and take necessary precautions.
This, he noted, includes avoiding political processions, protests, rallies, and marches, as well as steering clear of crowded areas and large gatherings.
