The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has once again increased the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, to N1,030 per litre.
This price hike was observed at NNPCL outlets in Abuja on Wednesday.
According to Premium Times, the increase follows NNPCL’s decision to terminate its exclusive purchase agreement with Dangote Refinery. As a result, NNPCL will no longer serve as the sole buyer of refined products from the refinery. This development opens the door for marketers to negotiate prices directly with Dangote Refinery.
