EKOHOTBLOG reports that the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced Saturday, August 28, 2021, as the date for its much-awaited National Executive Council (NEC) meeting.
The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Kola Ologbondiyan, made this known speaking to newsmen on the outcome of its National Working Committee (NWC) meeting, held in Abuja, on Thursday.

The PDP National Publicity Secretary said, among other things, that, “Elder Yemi Akinwonmi was unanimously affirmed as Acting National Chairman.
“We will be holding our caucus and another NWC meeting tomorrow preparatory to holding our National Executive Council meeting at 12 ‘O’clock on Saturday,“ Ologbondiyan said.
