EKO HOT BLOG reports that Governor Nyesom Wike is set to be named the People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) Vice Presidential Candidate for 2023.

It was gathered that Wike was selected to be the running mate of the Party’s Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

On Tuesday, high-ranking members of the party met behind closed doors to make the decision.

After finishing second in the party’s presidential primaries, the Rivers state governor made headlines.

It was widely assumed that he would have won the election if it hadn’t been for fellow aspirant and Sokoto state governor Aminu Tambuwal’s decision to step down in favor of Atiku.
