BREAKING: Police Attack June 12 Protesters In Lagos
- Policemen have reportedly attacked the June 12 protesters in Lagos.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the operatives of the Lagos State Police Command in the early hours of Saturday fired tear gas canisters at the June 12 protesters in the state.
The protesters were attacked by the policemen at the Gani Fawehinmi Park in Lagos, the venue of the June 12 Democracy Day protest.

The June 12 protesters were demanding an end to bad governance when they were tear-gassed by the policemen on Saturday.
Citing the rising insecurity and economic hardship, some persons had fixed Nigeria’s Democracy Day for the protest.
