Police operatives, on Wednesday, disrupted protest over the arrest of popular Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo well known as Sunday Igboho, who was nabbed in Cotonou, the Benin Republic on Monday night.
EKO HOT BLOG had earlier reported that the supporters of the Yoruba activist staged a protest in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital on Wednesday afternoon.
The protesters, who converged at the residence of Sunday Igboho in the Soka area, marched to Soka Bus Stop along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway where they sang and demanded the release of the popular Yoruba Nation agitator.

However, a resident of the area who identified himself as Musbau Ogunbiyi said the police operatives disrupted the protest which started at about 1.50 pm.
“The policemen came in about four patrol vans and a car. They shot in the air and chased away the protesters,” the resident said.
EKO HOT BLOG recalls that Sunday Igboho and his wife, Ropo, were arrested by INTERPOL at the Cadjèhoun Airport in Cotonou, the Benin Republic on Monday night.
