BREAKING: Police Reportedly Shoot Man Dead in Abuja During Protest

A young boy was shot and killed by officers of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) as the #EndBadGovernance protest reached its third day.

The boy was reportedly shot at close range near Zenith Bank in Kubwa.

An eyewitness stated that the boy was not participating in the protest but was walking by when the police, who were targeting protesters from another location, fired their weapon.

Activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju condemned the incident as an act of unprovoked murder.

He claimed that the boy was simply observing the protest when he was shot.

In a message to EKO HOT BLOG, Deji Adeyanju said, “IGP Kayode Egbetokun and his officers should face the consequences for the death of this innocent young man, who was shot in the neck at close range near Zenith Bank in Kubwa. This was clearly an unprovoked murder, as the boy was merely watching the #EndBadGovernance protest before this tragic end.”
