Policemen, in the early hours of Monday, chased away some members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) who had stormed the Federal High Court in Abuja for the trial of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
The aggrieved IPOB members had stormed the court ahead of Nnamdi Kanu’s trial on Monday morning.
It was gathered that the policemen chased the IPOB members away following their large gathering around the court premises.
It was further learnt that Nnamdi Kanu has not been brought to court when the IPOB members were chased away by the police operatives.

Upon his re-arrest and extradition from a foreign country, the IPOB leader was arraigned before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja for terrorism-related charges.
Nnamdi Kanu has since been remanded in DSS custody.
