BREAKING: Police Storm MKO Abiola Stadium, Open Fire at Journalists, End Hunger Protesters in Abuja (Photos)

Journalists and protesters on Saturday fled for their lives as heavily armed police men opened fire on them at the day 3 of the ongoing End Hunger Protest in Abuja.

The protesters had gathered in front of the the MKO Abiola Stadium in the nation’s capital, Abuja chanting solidarity songs when the policemen arrived in about five hilux vans and ordered them to leave immediately.

Angered by their refusal to obey the order, the policemen opened fire on the protesters and journalists covering the event, thereby dispersing them.
