EKO HOT BLOG reports that Professor Jachimike Adiele, a Boss Radio 98.9FM Owerri, Imo State On-Air Personality (OAP), has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
Prof. Adiele was abducted from the radio station on Saturday morning, shortly after anchoring the program “THE FORUM.”
Harriet Ijeomah, a co-host, announced the news on her well-known Facebook page.
This is to inform the members of the public and peace-loving people of Imo State that after the Program “THE FORUM” some unidentified armed men stormed the premises of Boss Radio, Owerri and abducted my Co-Host of the forum, Prof. Jachimike Adiele to an undisclosed location.
“We cannot confirm his whereabouts or his present state. I was just Lucky,” Ijeomah wrote.
The prevalence of insecurity in Imo state has recently risen to alarming levels, putting most residents in a state of constant fear.
