BREAKING: Popular PDP Senator Dumps Party For APC
- Another popular PDP Senator has dumped the party for APC.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Senator Peter Nwaoboshi has dumped the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Senator’s defection was confirmed when he was received by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa on Friday.
Senator Nwaoboshi, who represents Delta North District, Delta State, was presented to Buhari at the State House by the Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege.

President Buhari was quoted to have welcomed him to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“You are welcome to the progressives family,’’ Buhari said.
It would be recalled that Senator Nwaoboshi was suspended from the PDP a few days ago over “anti-party” activities.
The Senator was recently discharged by the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos from the N322million money laundering charge filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
