EKOHOTBLOG reports that President Muhammadu Buhari has met with leaders and stakeholders in the South-East in Imo State on Thursday.
The meeting was disclosed by a presidential aide, Tolu Ogunlesi, via a Facebook post on Thursday.
He posted, “The President is now participating in a Town Hall Meeting with South-East Leaders, having gone round Owerri to commission a series of infrastructure projects by Governor Hope Uzodinma.”
EKOHOTBLOG had earlier reported that President Buhari landed at the Sam Mbakwe Airport in Imo State around 09:30 am on Thursday.
The President was received at the Imo Airport by the South-East Governors, led by the Chairman of the South-East Governors, and the Governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi, host Governor, Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, among other Igbo leaders.

It was further reported that President Buhari would commission some projects in the state and meet with Igbo leaders and other Igbo groups.
Meanwhile, the President, while commissioning the Egbeada-Onitsha bypass road in Owerri, the Imo State capital, vowed to assist the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, deal with security breaches in the state.
President Buhari added that he was impressed with the level of development in the state.
