EKOHOTBLOG reports that President Muhammadu Buhari is set to leave Nigeria to participate in the United Nations General Assembly’s 76th Session in the United States (U.S).
It was gathered that President Buhari will on Sunday, September 19, 2021, depart Abuja to attend the conference which will be declared open on Tuesday, September 14, and end on September 27, 2021.
“The team going with him (Buhari) to the USA for the United Nations General Assembly leaves on Tuesday. The President will leave Abuja next Sunday to join them,” a presidential source disclosed.

According to SaharaReporters, a top source further disclosed that while Buhari would be attending the UN Assembly, the entourage led by Gambari, who is a diplomat and former top UN official, was sent ahead to weaken the strengths of the agitation groups before the President’s arrival.
EKOHOTBLOG recalls that President Buhari had on August 13, 2021, returned to Abuja after a two-week stay in London, United Kingdom.
The President had departed Nigeria for the United Kingdom on July 26, 2021, to see his doctors and participate in the Global Education Summit on Financing Global Partnership for Education 2021-2025.
