President Muhammadu Buhari will in a broadcast address Nigerians on Monday 18th May, 2020 whether or not the country would go ahead with the second phase of the easing of the lockdown.
This followed the end of the first phase of the gradual easing of the COVID-19 lockdown.
This was disclosed by Aliyu Sani, national coordinator of the presidential task force on COVID-19 when he appeared as a guest on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.
For the record, since the first gradual easing of the lockdown kicked off on May 4, Nigeria has recorded a sharp rise in cases of Coronavirus.
